Leaning into what you love

Austin DIY Wedding Planner, micro-wedding

Bride Hillary knew that she did not want the traditional wedding. No churches, no venues, rental companies or 12 hour structured days. Hillary wanted to enjoy her Wedding Day, have lots of flowers, and make her daughter happy! So, she booked an eclectic treehouse bungalow in east Austin and decided that is where they would hold their ceremony. The website showed the garden, the outdoor shower, library treehouse, large blossoming plants, and all of the bohemian elements that spoke to her. This place represented Hillary through and through, and it was PERFECT!

Laura Thornhill beautifully captured Hillary and Jacob's style in every detail of their day. The couple chose to walk down the cobbly stone pathway, hand in hand, to a live recording of a concert they attended time and time again. They descended into the stadium style greenland encompassed by a Rooted Floral Design meadow and 24 of their favorite people. Jennifer's Garden proved to be the perfect stream-side hideaway for their special moment.

After their ceremony, Hillary & Jacob were greeted by a collective of friends and colleagues at their favorite south Austin Brewhaus. A handmade bohemian garland swung in the breeze of the live edge bar at Meanwhile Brewing. Pictures of Hillary & Jacob adorned the room accompanied by the curvy candlestick holders and whimsical table buds. The room was filled with happiness and laughter. There was no question about it, they were in their element. They had good food, great company, and a vibe that anyone can get down with.

Hillary is a bride who leaned into what she loved for her wedding day.
